John of All Trades was established by John
Larabell in 2001.
John grew up in Huntington Woods, MI and has lived in the metro-Detroit area all his life. He currently resides in Berkley with his wife and two children.
Ever since John was a young boy, he had a fascination with how
things worked and loved to spend time with his father working on
home fix-it projects. John worked and learned more skills in
various positions often helping out friends and neighbors with
their own home improvement projects on the side. After word of
mouth spread of John’s knack and ability for handling all sorts
of problems and repairs, he decided it was time to set-up his own
shop. Since John can do just about anything you ask of him, he
took the name “John of All Trades.”
John handles small jobs that other repairmen refuse because they might see it as a waste of time
or too small to be bothered. John’s philosophy is that if you help someone out on a small job when they need help, they’ll remember you when a larger job comes along.
While John can handle small jobs, he’ll also tackle a large job too
whether that’s
dry walling a basement, adding a new roof, or installing windows. He has a team of qualified, reliable workmen that will make sure the job is done right, on time
and more importantly within budget.
“People deserve to have a person they can call who is honest, reliable, hard-working, and gives a fair days work for a fair days pay,” said John. “This is what I
want people to think of when they think of John of All Trades.”
